Il romanzo è scritto in terza persona ma risulta molto coinvolgente, è molto scorrevole, le voci narranti sono quelle dei due protagonisti e il libro è veramente bollente, ustionante direi e fantasioso. Dopo aver letto la sinossi ero molto curiosa, lasciava presagire molte scintille per i personaggi e le loro storie un cowboy ubriacone e una figlia di predicatore promettevano spunti interessanti, ma venite a leggere cose ne penso. È stato per me un grande piacere scoprire che il protagonista di questo libro è un cowboy, che fra l'altro insieme ai rocker e ai pompieri fanno parte delle fantasie di molte.
